Densora Scalp Serum Roll-On

Less in the brush is the bit I actually noticed.Margaret V.
Densora is a 30 ml scalp serum in a glass roll-on bottle. The steel ball parts the hair and puts the serum onto the skin along the parting, which is the part of the job a dropper struggles with. It goes on at night and stays in.
It will not grow hair back on a bald patch. Used every night, it can help your hair look fuller and leave less in the brush over a few months. Sudden or patchy hair loss is worth showing a doctor.
- ✓Printed on the label, not implied: 3% Rosemary, 3% Redensyl, 2% Anagain, 2% Biotin and 2% Niacinamide. That is the list, and it is the same list on the bottle that arrives
- ✓The rollerball is the point. It parts the hair and leaves the serum on scalp rather than on the lengths, where it would sit and wash out
- ✓Thin, not oily. It goes on at night, it is not a treatment you wrap or rinse, and it does not have to ruin the next morning's hair
- ✓One bottle is about a month at four or five passes a night, so you know what the reorder looks like before you buy, not after
- ✓Months, not weeks. Nothing here is going to look different by Friday, and we would rather say that now than sell you a bottle on a promise
What arrives
The bottle: 30 ml of clear golden-amber serum in a glass bottle with a steel rollerball and a white cap, in a printed box.
On the label: 3% Rosemary, 3% Redensyl, 2% Anagain, 2% Biotin + 2% Niacinamide, and NET 30ML / 1 FL.OZ.
The full ingredient list is printed on the box. We list the five actives here because those are what the label states, and we are not going to type out a list we cannot verify line by line.
After opening: the supplier states 18 months.
How to use it
At night, on dry or barely damp hair. Part your hair where you can see scalp. Hold the bottle upright and roll the ball slowly along the parting so the serum goes onto skin, not onto the lengths.
Make a new parting about two centimetres over and do it again. Four or five passes covers the area most people are worried about.
Massage it in with your fingertips for about half a minute and leave it. Do not rinse. Every night.
What it will not do
It will not grow hair back on a bald patch. Where a follicle has gone, nothing in a bottle brings it back, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
It is a cosmetic scalp serum, not a medicine. It is not a prescription product, and this page does not compare it to one. If your hair has started coming out suddenly, in patches, or with a sore or scaly scalp, that is one for a doctor rather than a roll-on.
When to expect anything
Months. Hair grows slowly and nothing you put on a scalp changes that. A bottle is about a month, so judge it on the third or fourth, not the first.
And it works the way anything in this category works: while you keep using it. Stop, and whatever it was doing stops with it.

Sound familiar?
You can see more scalp
than you used to
Nobody else has mentioned it. You noticed it in a photograph taken from above, or under a bathroom light, and now you check the parting in every mirror you pass.
Densora is a thin serum on a rollerball, put where you can actually see the scalp.
Why a rollerball
A dropper puts it
on your hair, not your scalp
This is the small, boring, mechanical reason most scalp serums disappoint. You squeeze a pipette over your head, the liquid lands on the lengths first, it spreads along the hair instead of down to the skin, and most of it is gone by the next wash.
- The ball parts the hairRolling it along a parting pushes hair aside and puts the serum on skin, which is where you wanted it
- You can see where it wentYou work parting by parting, so you know you have covered the crown and not just the general area
- It massages as it goesThe ball moves over the skin as you roll, which is the thirty seconds of rubbing in that most people skip
- Nothing dripsIt does not run down your forehead or onto a pillow, which is why it survives as a nightly habit
What to expect
Fuller-looking,
and less in the brush
That is the honest ceiling of what this is for, and the timescale is months rather than weeks. It will not grow hair back on a bald patch. What people are reasonably hoping for is a part line that stops looking wider every time they check it, and a brush that holds less at the end of the week.
- One bottleAbout a month
- Before you judge itThree bottles, nightly
- If you stopSo does whatever it was doing
- On a bald patchNothing. We will not pretend otherwise
How to use it
Part, roll,
massage, leave it
Thirty seconds at the end of the night. The only thing people get wrong is rolling it over hair instead of along a parting.

Dry or barely damp hair, at night. Hold the bottle upright so the ball stays wet. There is no need to shake it and no need to measure anything.

Part your hair where you can see scalp and roll slowly along that line. Make a new parting about two centimetres over and repeat, four or five passes in all.

Half a minute with your fingertips, then leave it in. Do not rinse. Cap back on, and the same again tomorrow night.
On skin, not on hair. If the lengths feel wet and the scalp does not, the parting was not wide enough.
An honest comparison
A rollerball, a dropper,
and a bottle of supplements
Three things people try for the same worry. What separates them is mostly whether the thing ever reaches the scalp, and whether you keep doing it.

What we will not claim: no study, no trial, no doctor and no comparison to any medicine. This is a cosmetic scalp serum, and the last row of that table is as true for us as for everyone else.
What is on the label
Five actives,
with their percentages
These are printed on the bottle you receive. We list them, we do not explain what they do inside a follicle, and we have not run a study on any of them.
The full ingredient list is printed on the box. Nothing on this page claims any of these does anything in particular.
Questions
The things people ask
before they order
How long, how far a bottle goes, what happens when you stop, and the one thing it is not going to do.
How long before I see anything?
Months, not weeks, and we would rather lose the sale than pretend otherwise. Hair grows slowly and nothing applied to a scalp changes that. One bottle is about a month, so the sensible way to judge it is on the third or fourth bottle, used nightly, not on the first. If you want a date to look for, take a photograph of your parting under the same light now and take another one in twelve weeks.
Will it work on a bald patch?
No. It will not grow hair back where there is none, and nothing in a cosmetic bottle will. What it is for is thinning: a part line that looks wider than it did, a crown that has gone see-through under a bright light, more hair in the brush than there used to be. If what you have is a patch of bare scalp, particularly one that appeared quickly, that is worth showing a doctor rather than buying a serum for.
Is it a medicine? Is it like the chemist's one?
No. It is a cosmetic scalp serum. It is not a drug, it is not prescribed, and we are not going to compare it to anything that is, in either direction. The label lists 3% Rosemary, 3% Redensyl, 2% Anagain, 2% Biotin and 2% Niacinamide, and those percentages are printed on the bottle that arrives. We list them because they are on the label, not because we have tested them.
How far does one bottle go?
About a month at four or five passes a night, which is enough to cover a parting and a crown. That is why the second bottle free and the two-and-two pack exist: this is a thing you use nightly for months, and nobody wants to reorder at the end of every month. If you are only treating a small area at the front, a bottle will go further.
What happens if I stop using it?
Whatever it was doing stops with it. That is true of everything in this category and we would rather you heard it from us. It is not a course you finish, it is a nightly habit you either keep or you do not, which is the real reason we care about it being thirty seconds and not a mess.
Will it make my hair greasy?
It is a thin serum and it goes on the scalp rather than the lengths, so it should not. Using it at night helps twice: it has all night to absorb, and if your hair does look a little flat at the roots in the morning, that is what a shower is for. If you are finding it greasy, it is usually a sign that it went on the hair rather than along the parting.
Can I use it on coloured or relaxed hair?
The supplier does not say, so neither will we. It goes on the scalp rather than the hair, which is in its favour, but if your hair is coloured, bleached or chemically relaxed, try it on a small area at the back for a few nights before you use it everywhere. The same goes if your scalp reacts to things in general: behind one ear, a few nights, then decide.
Should anyone avoid it?
Keep it off broken, sore or inflamed skin, and out of your eyes, rinsing with water if it gets in them. Not for children. Not while pregnant or breastfeeding without asking a doctor first. Stop if the scalp stings, itches or reddens. And if your hair is coming out suddenly, in patches, or alongside a sore, scaly or very itchy scalp, see a doctor rather than starting a serum.
How should I store it, and does it expire?
Cap on, out of direct sun, somewhere that is not the shelf above a radiator. The supplier states 18 months after opening, which is the one date we can stand behind, so it is the one we print. A bathroom cabinet or a bedside drawer is fine.

What buyers say
about Densora
the brush is the difference
I counted what came out in the brush before I started because I am that kind of person. Four months later it is visibly less. The part itself I would call unchanged.

ninety seconds and I am in bed
I am a night shift nurse and anything with steps gets abandoned. Part, roll, rub, done. The routine surviving my schedule is the only reason I am still using it.

one bottle really is a month
I did four passes a night and hit the bottom at day thirty-two. Glad the page said so, because I would have been annoyed otherwise. Ordered the four-pack the second time and it works out a good deal cheaper per month than buying one at a time. Worth knowing before you order.

did nothing for my temples
My hairline receded after an illness two years ago and that area has not changed. The crown is where I see a difference. Being fair, the page did tell me this.

my daughter noticed before I did
She took a photo of me at a lunch in July and said the top of my head looked thicker than it did at Easter. I had stopped checking by then, honestly.

small bottle, be ready
30 ml is smaller in the hand than I pictured from the listing. It lasts the month it says it lasts, so that is on me for not reading. The applicator is solid metal, no complaints there.

tested behind my ear first
My scalp reacts to almost every leave-in. I tried a small patch behind one ear for three nights, nothing happened, and I have used Densora on the crown since with no itching.

stopped for six weeks and regretted it
Went away over summer and left it at home. By the time I got back the brush was filling up again. Back on it nightly now. It clearly only works while you use it, which they do say on the page, but you do not really believe it until you stop.

colored hair, no problem so far
I color every six weeks and was worried about it lifting the tone. I tried a small section first as suggested. Four months, two color appointments, no difference my stylist could see.

husband uses the second bottle
He has thinning at the crown too and took the free one. Neither of us is going to oversell it. We both say less comes out in the shower, and we both keep buying it.

Our promise
Try Densora
for 30 days
Thirty seconds, along the parting.
A 30 ml glass roll-on that puts the serum on your scalp instead of your hair. Fuller-looking hair and less in the brush is the honest ceiling, over months rather than weeks, and it will not grow hair back on a bald patch. The second bottle is free, shipping is free, and you have 30 days to change your mind.
Densora is a cosmetic scalp serum. It is not a medicine and it is not a treatment for hair loss. It will not grow hair back on a bald patch. Results vary from person to person, and anything it does lasts only while you keep using it.
For external use on the scalp only. Keep it out of your eyes and rinse with water if it gets in them. Not on broken or sore skin, not for children, and not while pregnant or breastfeeding without asking a doctor first. Stop if the scalp stings, itches or reddens. Sudden or patchy hair loss, or a sore or scaly scalp, is worth showing a doctor.
