What is in the box
One Leashly tether (carabiner, strap, reel, steel cord and hook) and one case tab. Buy 1 Get 1 Free is two of each.
30-day money back
Use it for 30 days. If it is not for you, tell us and you get your money back.
About the crossed-out price: it only appears on the two-pack, and it is simply two tethers at the single price. The second one really is free, not discounted from a made-up number.
How to use it
Tab in. Clip on.
Hook up.
Leashly needs no glue, no tools and no new case. A thin tab sits behind your phone, and the reel clips to you.
- 1Tab in the case
Lay the flat end of the tab inside your case, with the loop through the charging-port cutout. Press the phone back in.
- 2Clip the reel
Close the carabiner on a belt loop, a bag strap or a jacket loop.
- 3Hook on
Clip the hook at the end of the cord to the loop. Pull the phone out to use it and the cord draws it back.
3 reasons
Why people
clip one on
The short version of Leashly, for anyone deciding in a minute.
Why you will love it
Hold it out.
Let it go.
The best photos are taken over an edge: from the ski lift, off the side of the boat, past the balcony rail. Those are also the places where a slip costs you the phone. With Leashly the cord pulls out up to 60 cm (about 24 in) so you can frame the shot, and if your grip goes, the phone drops a little way and hangs there. When you are done, let go and it retracts to the reel, leaving both hands free for the poles, the rope or the railing.
On the street
A phone in your hand
is a phone someone can grab
It takes one second: a hand from behind on a crowded platform, a scooter coming up the curb, a bump at a tourist spot while you are reading the map. A phone on Leashly is clipped to you by a steel cord, so a grab meets your belt or your bag strap instead of thin air. It is harder to snatch, and it stays attached to you.
- ✓Crowded trains and platforms
- ✓Tourist spots and markets
- ✓Scooter and bike grabs
Where it goes
Anywhere a drop
means gone
Leashly earns its place wherever the phone comes out over a drop, over water or in a crowd of strangers. Clip it on before you leave and forget about it.

Saved it on the chairlift
“Gloves on, pulling my phone out for a photo on the lift, and it went. It swung on the cord against my jacket instead of dropping forty feet into the snow.”
Dana R.
Photos over the water
“Clipped it to my life vest in the kayak and took photos over the side all weekend. Dropped it once reaching for the paddle. It just hung there.”
Mike T.
Two weeks in busy cities
“Two weeks in Barcelona and Rome with it clipped to my crossbody strap. I had the map out on the metro and in the markets without gripping my phone with both hands the whole time, which is how I spent the last trip. It came home with me. My sister, who laughed at it, lost hers in week one.”

Questions people ask
before buying
How does it attach, and does it damage my phone?
A slim tab sits between your phone and its case, with a small loop coming out through the charging-port cutout. The Leashly hook clips to that loop. Nothing sticks to the phone and nothing is glued to the case, so it does not damage either one. Lift the tab out and the case is as it was.
Which phones and cases does it work with?
Any smartphone, iPhone or Android, in a standard case. The tab comes out through the charging-port cutout that standard cases have.
Will it stop someone grabbing my phone?
It makes your phone harder to snatch. A grab meets a steel cord that is clipped to your belt loop or bag strap, so the phone stays attached to you. No tether is theft-proof and we do not claim this one is.
How long is the cord?
60 cm, about 24 in, and it is steel, not string or elastic. Enough to hold the phone at arm's length for a photo or up to your ear for a call while the reel stays clipped at your belt or bag strap.
What can I clip it to?
Belt loops, bag straps, D-rings and jacket loops. The stainless steel carabiner has a screw gate, so it locks shut once it is on.
Do I get one or two?
Buy 1 is one tether and one tab. Buy 1 Get 1 Free is two tethers, each with its own tab, for the same price.

What people say
about Leashly
For the forgetful
Three weeks away and I am the person who leaves her phone on cafe tables. It stayed clipped to my bag the whole trip, every single day.
Theme park rides
Bought two for the kids before the theme park. Both phones came off the rollercoaster with them, which has not always been the case in our family.
Lives on my belt loop
Feels solid in the hand, and the phone goes back to my hip without me thinking about it. Four stars only because I want it in a second color.

Thirty second setup
Tab in the case, hook on, done. My wife took the second one for her handbag before I had finished mine. Five stars if a spare tab came in the box.
Trail photos
On the backpack strap with the phone at my chest. Take the photo, let go, keep walking. I stopped zipping it into a pocket after day one.

Out of your hand. Still on you.
Leashly: a 60 cm steel cord on a spring reel, a tab that hides in your case, and a second one free. Free shipping and 30 days to change your mind.
