The cold air across the bedroom floor is gone. My feet noticed first.Margaret H.
Will it fit my door?
Snugsill fits most interior and exterior doors about 3.5 to 5 cm (1.4 to 2 in) thick, with a gap of up to about 2 cm (0.8 in) under the door. It is about 37 in (93 cm) long, so one strip covers a standard door. It is not for doors with a raised threshold.
How to fit it
1. Clean and measure. Wipe the bottom of the door clean and dry, and measure its width.
2. Trim. Cut the strip to length with ordinary scissors.
3. Peel and press. Fit it under the door so it hugs both sides, peel the backing film and press the adhesive flap firmly along the door. Done.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is free on every order. Orders are dispatched in 1 to 3 business days, and a tracking link is emailed to you as soon as yours ships.
30-day money back
Fit it and live with it for 30 days. If Snugsill is not for you, send us a message and you get your money back.
About the crossed-out price: it is what two strips cost bought one at a time.
A small gap makes a big difference
Seal the gap.
Keep the warmth in.
The gap under a door is where a room loses its heat. Warm air slips out, cold air runs across the floor to your feet, and the heating works harder to keep up. Snugsill closes it, and keeps drafts, dust, insects and hallway noise on the other side of the door.

One simple fix, three everyday benefits
What's coming
through the gap?
Blocks drafts
Cold air stops at the door instead of running across the floor. The room keeps its heat, the heating runs less, and that saves energy and lowers your heating bill.
Cuts hallway noise
The seal fills the gap that sound comes through, so the TV, the dishwasher and voices in the hall are quieter behind a closed door.
Keeps the gap covered
Dust from the hall and insects from outside stay on the other side of the door.
Measure once, trim to fit
37 inches of
flexible door seal
Measure the width of your door, hold the strip against it and trim the extra with ordinary scissors before you fit it.
About 37 in (93 cm)
Long enough for a standard door, one strip per door.
Cut to fit
Trim the extra with scissors so it ends flush with the door.
Self-adhesive
Peel the backing film and press it firmly along the door.

Built for the gap under your door
Flexible PVC.
Triple-seal design.
Flexible PVC
A soft, bendable PVC profile that sits along the bottom of the door and flexes as it opens and closes.
Triple-seal profile
It wraps under the door and hugs it on both sides, so there are three lines of seal instead of one.
Self-adhesive backing
A fold-over adhesive flap holds it to the door. Peel, press, done. No drill and no screws.
Four colors
White, Brown, Black and Gray, to match the door or the floor.
More than a basic door sweep
Built to seal
more of the gap
A draft snake lies on the floor and stays behind when the door opens. A screw-on sweep covers one side and needs a drill. Snugsill wraps the bottom of the door and goes wherever the door goes.

Around the home
One small fix.
Room after room.
Snugsill sits low and neat along the bottom of the door, in bedrooms, studies, front halls and apartments.

Close the bedroom gap
A bedroom off a cold hall loses its warmth under the door. Seal it and the room stays warm through the night, with less noise from the rest of the house.

A little more separation
Close the door and the TV, the dishwasher and the voices in the hall stay on the other side, and so does the cold.
Block the draft at the door
Front doors often have the widest gap and the coldest air behind them. Snugsill closes it, so the cold stays outside and the hall stops feeling like the porch.

Small upgrade. Clean finish.
It sits low and neat along the bottom of the door, in a color that matches it. It looks like part of the door.

Triple-seal contact
Two side walls hug the door and the base meets the floor: three lines of seal under the door, not one thin strip.
Peel. Press. Done.
Measure the door, trim the strip with scissors, peel the backing and press it firmly along the door. That is the whole job.

What people say
about Snugsill
Warm feet at last
Our bedroom sits right off the front hall, and every fall a cold draft runs across the floor by the bed. I fitted the white one on a Sunday afternoon. That night the floor by my slippers was no longer cold. Ten minutes, start to finish.

Two doors in one afternoon
I got the pair for the back door and the laundry room. Measured, trimmed the extra off with kitchen scissors, peeled the backing and pressed it on. No drill and no waiting for my son to come over. Both doors close fine.

The hall stays warmer
We live in a 1940s house with a gap under the front hall door you could post a letter through. With the strip on, the hallway holds its heat and the furnace kicks on less often. Our September gas bill came in lower too.
Matches the old oak
Chose brown for our stained doors and it blends right in. You only see it if you go looking. Soft, flexible and neatly finished, and the draft in the hall has gone.

Press it firmly
The adhesive needs a really firm press along the whole length, on a clean door. My first try on a dusty door let one end lift. Wiped the door down, pressed a new strip on properly, and it has held ever since. Four stars for my learning curve.
A quieter sewing room
My sewing room is next to the den, where my husband watches the ballgame loud. With the gray strip on the door, the noise is a murmur now instead of a running commentary. The room is warmer as well.

No more spiders at the back door
Our back door opens onto the garden, and every fall spiders and the odd beetle wandered in under it. Since fitting the black one, the mat inside the door stays clean, and so does the floor.
Fitted one for my mother
Mom's apartment hallway is always cold and she keeps her bedroom door shut against it. I put a white one on during a visit. She called the next morning to say her room stayed warm all night.

Check your door first
Works well on our inside doors. I meant the second strip for the porch door, but that one has a raised threshold, so it would not sit flat. The page does warn you. It went on the guest room door instead, and that room is warmer.
My reading chair is warm again
Our front door had a draft you could feel with your hand at night. The brown strip closed it up. I read in the chair by that door every evening and no longer need a blanket over my knees.

Simple and tidy
Easy to fit. Peel, press, done, just as it says. It looks neat on the door, and the door still swings shut without catching on the floor.
Every door on the landing
Started with one for the bedroom, liked it, then ordered the pair for the bathroom and the spare room. The whole upstairs landing feels less drafty, and the heat stays in the rooms we actually use.

My wife's idea
My wife found it and I fitted it. Twenty minutes for three doors, and most of that was measuring. The bedroom is warmer, and I no longer hear the dishwasher downstairs at night.
Gray runs a touch light
The gray is a shade lighter than our charcoal door, so I will go with black for the next one. Otherwise exactly as described: soft, bendy and easy to cut. It stopped the cold air coming under the study door.

Dust stays in the hall
Our hallway collects every bit of dust and cat hair in the house, and it used to drift under the bedroom door into the corners. Not anymore. The white one disappears against our white door.
The space heater is back in the closet
I do the household paperwork in the little room by the front entrance, and my feet were always cold by noon. With the strip on that door, the space heater has stayed in the closet.
Before you seal the gap
Questions,
answered
Will it fit my door?
It fits most interior and exterior doors about 3.5 to 5 cm (1.4 to 2 in) thick, with a gap of about 3 mm to 2 cm (1/8 to 0.8 in) under the door. It is not for doors with a raised threshold.
How long is it?
About 93 cm (37 in), enough for a standard door. Trim it to the width of your door with ordinary scissors.
Do I need tools?
No drill and no screws. A pair of scissors to trim it is all you need.
What is it made of?
Flexible PVC, with thin felt strips along the base where it meets the floor.
What does it keep out?
Drafts first: it keeps the heat in the room, which saves energy and lowers your heating bill. It also keeps out dust, insects and noise from the hallway.
How do I fit it?
Wipe the bottom of the door clean and dry. Measure the width of the door and trim the strip to match. Fit it under the door so it hugs both sides, peel the backing film and press the adhesive flap firmly along the door.
Will the door still open and close normally?
Yes. The seal goes with the door, and its flexible base rests lightly on the floor as the door opens and closes.
Which color should I choose?
Match it to the door or to the floor. It comes in White, Brown, Black and Gray.
Why get two?
Buy 1 Get 1 Free gives you two strips in the color you pick, one per door: the bedroom and the front door, say, for the price of one.
How does the 30-day money back work?
If Snugsill is not for you within 30 days of getting it, even after you have fitted it, send us a message and you get your money back.
How fast does it ship?
Shipping is free. Orders are dispatched in 1 to 3 business days with tracking.
