Tivora is a single flat sheet of pure titanium with a brushed finish, rounded corners and an oval handle cutout. It measures 15 x 11 in. Free from BPA and PFAS, with no coating. Will titanium damage my knives?
No. Titanium is softer than knife steel, so Tivora is gentle on knife edges. You chop, slice and dice on it the same way you do on the board you have now.
Is it really cleaner than wood or plastic?
Yes. Wood soaks up juices, and scarred plastic holds on to them. Tivora is non-porous metal, so nothing soaks in. A non-porous surface gives bacteria less to cling to, and it washes clean.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under the tap, wipe it down with a cloth, or put it straight in the dishwasher. It rinses clean in seconds and dries quickly.

Light, and the knife glides
Expected a heavy slab and got something thin and light that hangs on a hook. The knife glides across it. Four stars only because I now want a small one for fruit as well.
One for me, one for my son
Got the two for one. Mine lives on the counter because it looks good there, and the second went to my son for his new apartment. He has since asked where I bought it, twice, once for his roommate and once for his girlfriend's mother, so I think that counts as a hit.
Raw chicken, no worry
Raw chicken used to mean scrubbing the plastic board and still not trusting it. Now it is hot water, a wipe, and on to the vegetables.
